The Union shall :
(a)
care for mothers and children, orphans, fallen Defence Services personnel’s
children, the aged and the disabled;
(b) ensure disabled ex-Defence Services personnel a decent living and free
vocational training.
33.
The Union shall strive for youth to have strong and dynamic patriotic spirit, the
correct way of thinking and to develop the five noble strengths.
34.
Every citizen is equally entitled to freedom of conscience and the right to freely
profess and practise religion subject to public order, morality or health and to the other
provisions of this Constitution.
35.
The economic system of the Union is market economy system.
36.
The Union shall :
(a)
permit all economic forces such as the State, regional organizations, cooperatives, joint-ventures, private individual, so forth, to take part in
economic activities for the development of National economy;
(b)
protect and prevent acts that injure public interests through monopolization
or manipulation of prices by an individual or group with intent to endanger
fair competition in economic activities;
(c)
strive to improve the living standards of the people and development of
investments;
